in south india ooty and kodaikanal is best I simply loved Ooty, but then that's maybe also because it was my first experience with Indian hill stations, and I fell in love with the tea plantations and eucalyptus forests. The town itself was rather quiet, clean and full of flowers. We were there maybe in July last year, I think..can't remember exactly, and we stayed in Ooty itself, up on a hill with a beautiful view. The weather was pleasant, maybe a bit chilly in the shade, but that's all, we had no special clothes. There's the rose garden and a nice botanical garden to see, some suicide points with grand views, the telescope spot, the tea plantations, the spot where most movies are shot, with a big eucalyptus forest in the backdrop, all in or within short driving distance from Ooty. Coonoor looked lovey too, more so than Ooty, but we only saw it from the bus. Kodaikanal is one of the most popular hill resorts in India. It is a charming hill station, stands amidst sylvan beauty on the southern crest of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. With its rocks, woods, lovely lake and bracing air, Kodaikanal is an ideal hill resort for the tourists. I would like to recommend vinod,adityatravels taxi services ex Coimbatore, especially for trips to Ooty, Top Slip, Kodaikanal, Munnar or anywhere locally or in the region.
