The temperature can be high but cool winds will be flowing. Keep a jacket for the winds. Ladakh typically is hot in the sun and cold in the shade.

Sahil,
As I mentioned earlier, you can't find snow in Shimla in March. If you want to see snow, try Manali (Rohtang Pass)

Indian Sockets are round - http://users.telenet.be/worldstandards/electricity.htm#plugs_c
You would need a flat pin to round pin converter. You can find them easily at any electrical store in India, just ask for "English Pin Converter". They cost like Rs. 10.

Hi Sahil,
I don't think you can find snow in March. Visit before January end if you want to see snow.

Kashid receives lots of rains during this time of the year. Most people prefer to go to beaches for sun bathing after the monsoons when the climate gets cooler. Hence there would not be much rush during this time.
If you enjoy rains and want to get wet on the beach, then it would be a good place to go. Another place to check out is Mahabaleshwar, which also receives rainfall and the scenic beauty would be great at this time.

The map was indeed incorrect. Thanks Kamdev for pointing out. It has been corrected now.
