Take the following route:
Pune -> Mumbai by bus - around Rs 300 and 2 hours
Mumbai -> Delhi by flight - around Rs 2000 and 2 hours
Delhi -> Agra by road/train - around Rs 200 and 3 hours.
Taj Mahal is in Agra.
Entrance Fee - Rs 500 for foreigners.

There are also some direct trains from Pune to Agra which would take around 22 hours and cost around Rs 500.

Pune (Maharashtra) to Agra (Uttar Pradesh) is ~1400 km.

Though there is no direct flight, you can take a flight to Delhi (2 hrs, Rs 3,000, refer http://www.mustseeindia.com/how-to-reach/from-pune-to-delhi) and then a train to Pune (3 hrs, Rs 200, refer http://www.mustseeindia.com/how-to-reach/from-delhi-to-agra)
