The temperature starts to dip again but is still in the bearable range, making September a popular months to visit Badrinath. There may be occasional rainfall but will not cause much disruption. Pilgrimage yatra resumes from the mid of this month. Go to high altitudes for enjoying snow.
Dear Mustseeindia, Please don't mislead all. ONE CANNOT reach from Kedarnath to Badrinath in 3 Hrs. 30 Min. The road is not plain road, it's hilly/mountain road and if you ever travel on hilly /mountain road, then and then only u can have idea how much time it will take to travel 205 kms. on hilly/mountain road.

Earlier, on20th Oct,1885 I had an opportunity to travel to Kedarnath Badrinath on conducted tour by GMVN. Later, in 1987, I had the blessings to revisit Badrinath Oct.along with my parents. It was a pristine beauty far from the madding crowd. This year I have planned to revisit Kedarnath-Badrinath via Najibabad on 17th Oct, 2010 to compare and contrast during the siver jubilee period.
