The panoramic hill station of Coorg is directly linked to Bangalore only via roads. Travelling from Bangalore to Coorg through roadways will take not more than 6 hrs. Buses are the most common means of transport between the two cities. There are KSRTC operated buses including Volvo and deluxe buses as well as private operated buses available from Bangalore.
