easiest way to reach saputara from mumbai is as follows: drive to nasik on the mumbai agra road, after reaching nasik keep driving on the highway and turn left at rasbehari international school, you will reach a junction with traffic signal, turn right and proceed to dindori vani bor goan saputara. I been to Saputara on 30 Apr to 03 May after almost 20 years. Now you have options of Good Hotels i.e Shilpi, Savshanti Resort, Hotel Patang. In these Hotels you can take the vehicle upto porch/Main Entrance. You have safe parking in Hotel compound. No need to climb the stairs like other Hotels. Vaity's location is excellent but away from main market. While gonig I went via Nasik - ...moreDwarka Circle-Dhule Road-Bridge-Chowk-Left turn (one way) at Tyre shop-Police Chowki-strait road-S T Depot on right side-Circle(Garden & Statue)- turn right take Dindori Road (last petrol pump on right side) –destination SAPUTARA. About 260 Kms from Malad. Overall road is good. No Petrol Pumps /ATM in Saputara. No Credit Cards. I came back via Vapi- Saputara – Waghai GHAT Section of almost 60 kms – Wazada – Vapi – Dahisar-Malad about 300 kms. Overall stay was good. Savsanthi serve tasty food (Punjabi /Chinese/Pizza). Best season would be end of Sept to January.
