The Yahsha Festival is a unique music and dance festival named
after “Yaksha”, the Hindu mythological being. This festival started in January
2010. This 13-day festival is conducted amidst the holy space of the
Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple that lies at the pristine foothills of Velliangiri Mountains
and features some of the most popular talent of dance and music. This marvelous
and vibrant festival is conducted every year in the month of February and lasts
for seven days. Held in Coimbatore, tourists are advised to plan thier trip to Tamil Nadu during the time of this festival.
In this festival musical concerts and dances are performed by
various eminent artists from every corner of India leaving the audience
spellbound. Every day of the festival is a perfect blend of culture and
contemporary arts exhibiting a various Hindustani and Carnatick artists style
vocalists; instruments including Tabla, Flute and Sarod; elements of Indian
classical dance, such as Bharatnatyam; and also the folk performers from
throughout the world.
The aim of this festival is to promote traditional music and dance

The instrument and vocal concerts are conducted in a beautiful Pandals,
