Keylong is the administrative center of the Lahaul and Spiti
District of Himachal Pradesh. It is an overnight stop on the way from Himachal
Pradesh to Ladakh. This little town is located 120 km from the Tibetan border
on the Manali-Leh Road and can be included on Himachal Pradesh tours.
This beautiful place is situated at a height of 3080 meters
on the banks of the Bhaga River; you can almost touch and play with the clouds

Tandi: This tiny
village witnesses the confluence of the Chandra and Bhaga Rivers, forming the
Chandrabhaga River, which is also known as River Chenab.
The Famous Triloknath temple ‑ a stone and timber structure ‑ is a shrine that
is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. It is located on the left bank of the
beautiful little village near the Bhaga River is an angler’s paradise as the
shallow waters near the village are full of trout, and it is a great place to
visit during the summer.

which was built in the 17th century. The annual fair held here in June also

This Gompa was built in the 16th century, and it has a 5-meter-long Thangpa – a
beautiful Tibetan style silk tapestry.
Located across the Bhaga River from Keylong, this 12th Century Gompa
has a large statue of Buddha and a library housing old manuscripts.
Sissu: This is a
little village on the banks of the Chandra River. This place is a feast to the
eyes with its riot of colors. You can find dense plantations of Poplar and
Willow Trees and slopes decked with wild roses of various hues and alpine
