- Dilwara

- Nakki
Lake: The Nakki Lake is the highest artificial lake situated in India; at a
towering height of 1200 m. Toad Rock is a massive rock formation which stands
high over the lake. Most people enjoy quiet picnics at this scenic spot or embark on a blissful boat ride.
- Mount Abu
Wildlife Sanctuary: This extensive wildlife reserve is home to animals such
as the langurs, wild boars, sambar and chital deer. Due to the monsoon rains, a
variety of rare plants grow in this region.
- Gaumukh
Temple: This is a famous tourist spot built in honor of the sage Vasishtha.
A marble status of the cow, Nandi, can be seen at a close distance to the
temple.
- Gurushikhar
Peak: This peak towers at an impressive height of 1800 m and provides an
enchanting view of the surrounding hills. The famous Dattareya temple lies on
this peak.
Getting to Mount Abu
Mount Abu is easily accessible by road as it is situated at
a convenient distance to major cities. A shuttle bus service is available from
Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Ahmedabad, Udaipur and Mumbai. Cab services are also
available from all the major metropolitan cities. You can take a cab, bus or a
jeep according to your convenience to visit this spot.
