Best Season / Best time to visit Ziro
The climate of the town of Ziro is similar to the climate of many of the higher regions of the state. The temperate conditions make it an ideal place to visit throughout the year. Summers are cool and mild and one can experience a refreshing mountain breeze as well. Rainfall is extensive during the monsoon season and the conditions are moist during this period. Winters are cool and if you are visiting during this season, light protective clothing is required.
The summer season starts in the month of April and extends till the end of June. Temperatures range from a minimum of 20 degrees Celsius and can rise up to a maximum of 27 degrees Celsius. This is an ideal time to visit before the onset of the monsoon season.
The monsoon season starts in the month of July and ends in the month of September. Moderate rainfall can be experienced during the month of October as well.
The winter season starts in November and lasts till the ends of February. The temperatures range from a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius and can go up to a maximum of 20 degrees Celsius during this period. The coldest month of the year is usually January.
