I am not the spiritual kind, but it was a good experience for me to know more about Lord Krishna and the places its said he lived and roamed. I was really amused by the story that goes around in "Nidhivan" that Lord Krishna still comes here every night a and performs "raaslilas" with Radha.

This city seemed to me like anyother small town in India with its haphazard narrow lanes and below standard sanitaion. However the mythical stories and the temples around the city soothe your senses once you visit these places of worship.

Just when I thought when my Agra trip was complete I thought of visiting Vrindavan. It proved to be more than I had expected. It was hot during that summer afternoon but the tranquility of the place transported me to heaven.

Its a great place though but be advised that there are touts and fake pujaris and scamsters who will rob you of your money.
