Dhimsa dance with colourful costumes and rich cultural performances accompanied with rhythmic pleasing songs is very popular. A famous festival celebrated in the region is Itika Pongal. YOU HAVE A RETURN TRAIN BETWEEN 4:30-5.00PM TO RETURN TO VIZAG.BEFORE THIS TIME YOU NEED TO COMPLETE UR SITE SEEING, IF YOU WANT TO RETURN IN A DAY. OTHER WISE YOU MAY STAY THERE FOR A DAY AND ENJOY THE NATURE BEAUTY OVER THERE. WE VISITED ARAKU AROUND JULY BUT THAT WAS NICE TRIP..

there is a train from vizag station @6.30am the train name is kiramdole passenger.. it'll reach araku @11.00-11:30am you may engage a car/taaxi/omini van for site seeing....the driver himself as a guide will show and explain all the view points..... only BSNL mobiles will work over there none other networks canot work till you return... here a taxi driver number ..he is good at driving and he'' know all the places at ARAKU. 9441414803(MOJES HIS NAME)
