Best Season / Best time to visit Vaishno Devi

Vaishno Devi shrine can be visited all the year round but the best month to travel is from March to October.
  • Winter (October to February) are characterized by sub-zero level temperature and snowfall is common.
  • Summer (March to July) are cool and pleasant and most of the pilgrims visit the Vaishno Devi during this period.
  • Monsoon (August to September) received medium to heavy rainfall and it is not advisable to go the shrine as mud slides are common. However, natural beauty is at its best.
The holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is open for its pilgrims all the year round but summer is the best time to visit as the region is devoid of snow and the natural beauty is at its peak. Winters in Vaishno Devi region is dominated by snow and the temperature dips down to freezing point, therefore one should avoid booking Kashmir holiday packages during this season.

If you don’t mind the cold weather, you can visit to Vaishno Devi in winter. In fact, the original cave opens in winters only. If you are being accompanied by kids or the aged, extreme precaution should be taken. Snowfall will begin from the end of this month.

JAI MATA DI ..... Mata rani humari manokamnaye puri kro maa. hamari family ko complete kr dijiye maa hum apke darshan ko 2013 main aayenge or maa humko aashirwad dena manokamna puri ki or 2015 main apne bate , beti or pati complete family k sath fir se tere darshan ko aao.... Jai Mata Di....

maa meri barso ki tamanna puri hone ja rahi ha tere aashirwad se.ab bus tu mujhe mere mann ke sath apne darshan de.tere darshan se meri sari manokamnaye puri ho jayegi.bus tu apna aashirwad hum par banaye rakhna.JAI MATA DI.23 july ko tere charno me aa rahe hum dono. apne aashirwad se hame teen kar dena.JAI MATA DI.
