Uttar Pradesh, the globally famous state, bears one of the world’s greatest wonders, having the Taj Mahal located in Agra. Kanpur


Kanpur is renowned for the great historical place called the Jajmau. Tourists visiting this place can relate to important events that have happened centuries ago. It has a couple of temples namely, the Siddhnath and the Siddha Devi temples that are glaringly outstanding, reflecting the beauty of historical times and the related kings of the olden age. Not only the monument, but also the city’s rich wildlife and gardens are a complete treat to the tourists. Kamla Retreat is one of the happening places in the city which attracts the mass with its wide range of antiques on display and with other recreational activities like boating.

Lucknow


Lucknow, with extraordinary monuments and architectural excellence, is an exciting package for itself for tourists who love history and elegance of construction. The rich and beautiful Kaiserbagh Palace and the Shaheed Smarak which is a memorial exclusively for reminding the tourists of the olden age warriors are hot spots that are not to be missed out. Agra


The place bestowed with the scenic beauty of the Yamuna River and greenery, has the marvelous Taj Mahal to add to the beauty of nature. Situated pretty near this awesome monument is the Red Fort of Agra, otherwise called the Agra Fort. This is one of the most important Indian heritages that tourists should never miss to visit. Fatehpur Sikri, recognized as one of the heritage sites of the world, was the capital of the Mughal Kingdom once and it was built by the great king Akbar. The city has countless monuments and tombs that simply reflect the intricacy of construction and efforts of the labor in making the city so famous.

A Treat For Hindu Pilgrims


Ayodhya, situated on the river bank of Sarayu has endless temples and it is believed to be the city where Lord Rama was born. The serenity of the city and the beauty of the temples’ construction attract a very large number of tourists.

Mathura is the city where another important God of the Hindu Religion – Lord Krishna, was born. The age old tales revolving around the birth and the childhood of Lord Krishna can be related to this city and the holiness of the city is another factor that brings in the mob.

Apart from these cities flooding with Hindu pilgrims, Sarnath is yet another city that paves way for the maximum number of Buddhist pilgrims in one place.
