The Iranshah Atash Behram, sanctified in 1742 and literally means the fire temple of Iranians has the distinction of enshrining the sacred fire of Parsis in India. It is believed that this victorious fire, brought by Iranian refugees, has been burning in the Iranshah Atash Behram for more than 1,250 years. This has been the renowned and significant pilgrimage center for the Parsi sect of India. It also encloses the WZO Museum and the Dasturji Koyaji Mirza Hall.
This Parsi temple is a high walled structure depicting Parsi style and culture. Newly Wed Parsis couples generally visit this place to get the blessings from the holy fire. This is a nice place to visit carrying the heritage and culture of a well-known community in India.
