The Sydney Harbour Bridge, also known as ‘Coathanger’ is an important attraction in Sydney and serves as the focal point for the locals. Opened on March 19th, 1932, the bridge is steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic across various parts of the city.

The bridge is 3,770 ft long, 161 ft wide and 440 ft high and is one among Sydney’s tallest and most photographed structures. Tourists can enjoy climbing the southern half of the bridge that begins on the eastern side of the bridge and ascends to the top and takes almost 3 ½ hours.
