Namkhana is closer to lothian wildlife sanctuary and bhagabatpur crocodile project in sundarbans. but most attractive places in sundarbans are sundarban tiger reserve and sajnekhali wildlife sanctuary and most of the tourists visit these places.And these places are closer to Canning Railway head. canning is about 1 hour 10 mnts away from sealdah, kolkata.

hi, I belive that its 'Namkhana' and not Canning is the nearest railhead from Sundarbans. There are connected local trains frm Shealdah station to Namkhana via Lakshmikantpur from morning to evening.But I don't knoe much abt the loadges in Namkhana or inside sundarbans...can u tell me abt this please.
