Symbolising the Buddhistand Tibetan influence in Shimla is the Dorje Drak Monastery which is located in the Sarasvati Garden Estate, Kusmuti near Shimla. Being one of the principal monastic institutions, Dorje Drak Monastery is also known as Thubetan Evam Dorje Drak.
It is a popular tourist spot and a perfect example of a mix of Tibetan and Buddhist Culture.
