Best Season / Best time to visit Sangli
The climatic conditions in the city of Sangli can be characterized as semi arid and the place is dry for most parts of the year. There are four main seasons in the place and they are summer, monsoon, post monsoon and winter.
The summer season is from the February mid and lasts till June mid. Conditions are generally dry and the heat can be difficult to deal with. Average temperatures range from a minimum of 32 degrees Celsius and can rise up to around 38 degrees Celsius. There may be variations in the summer temperature depending on the conditions. May is the hottest part of the year.
Monsoon season is from June to September and the place gets a good amount of rainfall from the South West monsoon. Rainfall is interspersed through these months and is heaviest in July. The months of October and November make up the post monsoon season and the conditions are pleasant for most parts of this time. Average temperatures are around 30 degrees Celsius during this period.
The months of December, January and February make up the winter season. Temperatures are mild and vary from a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius during this period.
