Best Season / Best time to visit Sadras
The town of Sadras has predominantly hot weather conditions, especially during the summer season. Sadras experiences tropical monsoon type climate for most parts of the year. Summers are extremely hot and the humidity is very high. Humidity can reach up to 90 % in some months of the year. Winters are the best time to visit the place as the temperatures are much cooler after the monsoons.
Summer temperatures are extremely high and average in the high thirties for the most part. Summer season starts from early March and can go up to early June. Nights are comparatively cooler due to the breeze from the ocean. Summer temperatures range from a minimum of 32°C and can rise up to a maximum of 40°C.
Monsoon season is from the months of June to October and Sadras gets most of its rainfall from the North East Monsoon. October gets the most amount of rainfall and temperatures gradually reduce after that. June to September receives some rainfall from the South West Monsoon.
Winter season is from December to February. Temperatures are much cooler and this is the best time to visit the place. Temperatures generally range in the mid twenties during this period.
