[TREK] Torana (The First Fort in Swaraj)

I owe this trip to Subhomay for more reasons than one... first he woke me up in the morning otherwise I’d have missed the bus and secondly, he allowed me to use his Nikon Coolpix (I did not have a camera and I guess he heard my sigh when we reached the foothills).

A fort that every avid trekker dreams of conquering, Torana Gad, 50 kms. away from Pune and 1440mts. high, is one of the highest forts in Maharashtra and one of the toughest forts to climb. It is also called as 'Prachandagad' because of its wide spread.
