Located at the slope of Obuladevara Gutta’hill, the Wish Fulfilling tree is a grand sentinel point over the Chitravathi river. One of the milestones in the life of Sai Baba, the place where the tree situates is frequently visited by large number of people. Access to this place starts from the Chitravathi road from where the steps to this holy spot starts.
A tree, which holds fabulous tales of Sai Baba’s childhood, this tamarind tree has witnessed so many miraculous activities of Sai Baba’s child hood life. It is heard that, in his boyhood days Sai Baba used to take his friends to the uphill and ask them to think of any fruit and the very next moment they would be getting the same from the old tamarind tree.
