Set up in the year 2001, Sri Sathya Sai Mirpuri College of Music at Prasanthi Nilayam focuses its attention on both Hindustani and Carnatic styles of vocal music. Besides this students are giving training in various musical instruments like tabla, mridangam, veena and sitar. College offers foundation as well as diploma courses.
The premises of the music college also hold a museum whose elegant architectural formations catches the attention of any visitor. Apart from its structural designs, the edifices of the build are decorated with various musical instruments. Almost all types of instruments around the globe are displayed in this exceptional Museum. This is the museum that displays musical instruments from various parts of the world. The students of the college would present their debut concerts here, when Sai Baba make a visit.
