The town of Pokran is located in a strategic position, from where all three major cities in the western part of Rajasthan – Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner can be easily accessed. The town of Pokran also has a minor railway station, although not many trains run here. Buses and flights are the other two important and available modes of travel.

Buses to the town of Pokran can be taken from the nearby major cities, which have regular buses to Pokran throughout the week. Bus fares from the cities of Bikaner, Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur will range around Rs 160 to 250. Buses will be available in both air conditioned and non air conditioned varieties. You can opt for buses for short distance travel purposes.
