Best Season / Best time to visit Phulbani
The region of Phulbani has a varied climate and the conditions are pleasant for many months of the year. The town of Phulbani experiences three main seasons and they are summer, monsoon and winter seasons. Summers can be uncomfortable for a short period, especially during the height of the summer season. The monsoon season experiences constant rainfall and the wet conditions make it a bad time to visit the place. Winters can be quite cold and travelling with warm clothing is essential.
The summer season is during the months from March to May. One can expect the mercury can reach up to a high of around 45 degrees Celsius during the summer season and the month of May is the hottest part of the year. Day temperatures rarely fall below 19 degrees Celsius.
The onset of the monsoon season is usually in the month of June and rains last till the month of October. The South West monsoon is responsible for bringing rainfall to the area and this might not be a good time to visit. The month of November is neither too cold nor hot and this is a popular time to visit.
The winter season is during the months from December to February and temperatures can be expected to fall to around 4 degree Celsius in this period.
