Best Season / Best time to visit Payyoli
The place is characterized by tropical climatic conditions and it is very similar to much of the other parts of coastal Kerala. Summers are hot and humid and the conditions are extremely uncomfortable. Monsoon season brings much needed relief from the heat and rainfall is extensive. Winters are mild and this is the best time to visit the place.
The summer season is from the month of March to May. Temperatures range from a minimum of 32°C and can rise up to a maximum of 38°C. Humidity is extremely high and this makes the place one that is difficult to visit. May is usually the hottest part of the year and summer continues until the onset of the monsoon.
Monsoon season is from June to October. The South West Monsoon brings substantial rainfall to the area from June to September. The months of October and November also receive certain amount of rainfall but visiting the place during this time is possible.
The winter season is from December to February. Temperatures are much lower and they range from a minimum of 24°C and can rise up to a maximum of 32°C. December is generally the coolest months of the year.
