Situated with in the precincts of the town is the magnificent Chaukhamba Viewpoint, which is quite renowned for its mesmerizing sceneries. This vantage point unwinds the magical charm of the intimidating Himalayan peaks. Gawking through the never ending cliffs would definitely provide new energy and vigor to the picnicker.
Another alluring fascination here is the dense oak and rhododendron forest of Dwarikhal, where the tourists can play hide and seek in the glowing sun. The floral carpet of the rhododendrons and the lush greenery of the oaks make a fabulous shade of colours. After your stroll through the meandering paths you can quench your thirst from the pond whose water is so tastier and cooler than any of the city soft drinks.

A magnificent shrine in an imposing ambiance of dense forest and a majestic hill, Kandoliya Shiva temple is just two kilometers away from the main city. Popularly called as the Kandolia Devta Mandir, this sacred shrine of Lord Shiva is one of the crowd pullers of the locality.
Though the presiding deity is Lord Shiva, the temple also houses the local Bhumi-Devta and often referred as the Devta Mandir by the locals. The temple premises is surrounded by a beautiful park and in summers Kandolia Park sees the happy sounds of the cheerful children playing and their families picnicking.
This scenic place also offers a splendid view of the lofty peaks of Himalayas and the Gangwarsyun valley. A tranquil place filled with devoutness and serenity, Kandolia is quite famous for holding Asia's highest sports stadium.

An 8th century temple that signifies the Hindu renaissance of that time Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev Temple situates in the suburbs of the main town .It is believed that this historic shrine is raised by Sankaracharya during his trip to Pauri.
The temple has Lord Shiva as the presiding deity who is accompanied by his consort Goddess Parvati and their children Ganapati and Karthikeya. Along with them, Lord Ram, Lakshman and Sita also adores the temple premises.
