I was in Patiala for a friend's wedding so could not see the city much but I did visitd the Motibagh Palace. I was very beautiful. And of course the lunch was a sumptuous one with makke di roti and sarson ka saag.

I love the vibrancy and the spirit of this historical city. It is a nice city. I particularly liked the Motibagh Museum. You can also buy sports goods at cheap prices.

Great place to enjoy punjabi culture...On a trip to Patiala from Chandigarh we saw an old fort that has been converted into a police training facility. Sad to see the many taxidermy models kept in neglect. But it was a great trip overall with excellent Punjabi food.
