This October, we are planning to go all adventurous - Paragliding in Manali.
Transportation
Take a Volvo coach to Manali on 10th night
Accomodation
Hotel Iceland.

5 people. About 12000 per head
- 6700 per head for paragliding
- 550 per day per room for hotel in Solang
- 930 per head for volvo coach
Kharcha:
Shobhit: 10000-1000-250 = 8750
Shakti: 350+400+20000-350-250 = 20150
Shitiz : 26000(trip) + 4650(volvo booking) - 3300(personal shopping) = 27350
Shubhra = 0 - 3200 = -3200

Hmmm...doesnt sound a very good idea to me coz the distance is much :( Its around 550 Kms and hilly area will be all the more troublesome..
Binsar was just 350 Kms and it took us 12 hours...and was indeed tiring...
So 'anumaan' laga likjiyeee....

Shakti u know.. i have heard ki mian biwi ne hotel booking karwa li hai.. but humein (at least mujhe) to kuch bhi nhain bataya hai.
Mami... apni nayi flat mate se details lo.. usne paragliding kari hui hai

Yeh mama jo hai, yeh information sharing main believe nahi karte hai. Inke liye MSI wagerah useless hai, inko telepathic MSI chahiye.
Aur mami aapne kya pata kiya hai apni flatmate se zara yahan bhi batane ka kast kare.
Meri side se to itni information hai ki main 9th ko delhi pahunch raha hoon

Hehe... here is the info.
Paragliding ke kuch kuch options the. Finally i have settled and booked a package from 12th to 16th of Cotober costing 6700 per person. Ek option 6k ka tha lekin mujhe reliable nahi lag raha tha and wo certification me bhi fight macha raha tha.
Apart from that for the first three days I have booked Hotel Iceland in solang http://icelandhotel.homestead.com/ at rs 550 per room per day.
Fir decide kar lenge ki wahin continue karna hai or if it becomes too dull to we will shift to manali after 3 days.
Use alawa things to look forward to are Kullu dassera, Rafting and possibly a daylong trek.

Shakti, her name is Shweta and she was telling that she stayed in a Tent and she had done her certification from some authorised orgn, am forgetting the name...will ask and let you know.

problems:
1. Buses start at 6 pm. to sabko 3-4 baje office se nikalna padgea. is that ok with everybody?
2. Tickets cost 1000 and 1200 for going and returning. makes it 11k in total for 5 ppl. And local travel extra. Are we sure about this?

People apna apna karcha bata do..
Kitne paise lage (kitne the + kitne ATM se nakle) and kitne bachhe hain wallet mein. Also do tell ki personal karcha kitna tha (shopping)
Like mera: initial: 9000, ATM withdrawal: 0, bachhe: 1000
personal kharcha: 250 (earrings)

I still have 350 pictures after removing more than 100. Now I am tired of filtering and am just uploading everything. Thats 600 MBs of upload which my poor connection at Jaipur is having trouble with. Upload is going on, keep checking out

Hi guys,
I visited manali recently. Just a little advise - although Solang Valley is beautiful, it will be really boring to stay there all 3 days. Shifting to manali would be a wiser option since you will have a variety of places there to visit too. Not to mention the ladies in your group get to shop.

Dear Garima,
Thanks for the advise, but we completed the trip in mid-Oct..so I guess its too late. We stayed all 7 days in Solang and loved it... away from all the tourist heavy Manali and the ladies in our group did get to do shopping at Manali whenever we visited it for some purpose or other.
