Kelva dam, located at picturesque surroundings, was constructed many years back as a source for the irrigation in the grass farming of Palghar. This has been a storage dam of the water in the Kelva dam. The dam site offer cool and secluded place for evening tours. During weekends many tourists visit this place. A garden located nearby add the attraction of the dam site.

for the people coming from mumbai- this palce located in between virar & palghar rly.station.For reaching out you have to catch train from virar-kelvaroad stn.from there by walking near about 30-35 minutes or hire auto.on the back side of the dam there was a very big waterfall not many people go there but its so beatiful to watch falling down more than 30ft.so lets enjoy................
