Best Season / Best time to visit Orang National Park
There are three main seasons that the park experiences and they are the summer, monsoon and winter seasons. Rainfall is usually experienced during the monsoon season. The climate in the park can be classified as a tropical monsoon type of climate. Summers are warm and this period is generally dry. Winters are cool and pleasant for the most part.
The months of March, April, May and June constitute the summer season. The place can be warm during the summer months with temperatures rising to around 32 degrees Celsius. The lowest expected temperature during the summer season is around 20 degrees Celsius.
The South West Monsoon brings rainfall to the region and conditions are wet and green during this period. The months from July to September form the rainy season. The post monsoon season is during the months of October and November. Average day temperatures are in the mid twenties during this period.
The months of December, January and February constitute the winter season. The maximum temperature that you can expect during the winter season is around 12 degrees Celsius. Heavy woolen clothing is required if you are traveling during this period. December and January months form the peak winter season.
