Netarhat is a small hill station that is located in the State of Jharkhand. They hill station is known for its beautiful sunsets and sunrises during the summer. The place is located around 95 km from the capital Ranchi. There are many crystalline rock formations that can be found in the surrounding areas. The hills are covered with a wide variety of fauna and are home to many species of animals. There are a few interesting sites that a traveler can visit in Netarhat.
One of them is the Magnolia sunset point. This is located around 10 km from the town and can be good option for a day trip. The upper Ghargri falls and the lower Ghagri falls are also another option. They are located around 10 km from the town center. Some of the other options are the Koel View point and the LodhFalls. Sadni Falls is another option for a day trip and it is located around 35 km from the town.
The town itself is a nice place to walk around and there are many small interesting places that one can visit. Most of the important places in the hill station are situated close to each and the best way to travel around the town is on foot.
