The National Chambal Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. and it is being promoted as a spot for eco tourism. The park was founded in the year 1979 and is being administered jointly by the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. This is a good place to visit for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. There are many species of animals and birds that can be seen here. One can see many river dolphins in the river that runs through the park. Some of the other species of animals that are present in the river are marsh otters, crocodiles, and many species of turtles.

The park is also a haven for many species of migratory and non migratory birds. Some of them are flamingoes, black bellied terns, sarus crane, red crested pochard, pallid harrier, darters, hark owls and many others. The endangered Indian skimmer can also be seen in the National Chambal Wildlife Sanctuary. One can also see nilgai wolves, wild boars, chinkaras, sambars and gharials in the wildlife sanctuary.
