The Himalayan Center of Sri Aurobindo Ashram at Nainital is nestled cozily amidst the green hills of the Kumaon valley, about a kilometer away from the busy market area of Nainital. A steep climb up the slope to the ashram is a good exercise and gives a sense of contentment upon having reached the ashram.

SP Gupta I am interested to visit Nainital, Ranikhet and adjoining places but I could not find a dharamshala, cheapest hotel or lodge to suit my pocket. There should be an indication or specific places where lower middle class people even enjoy the nature and natural beauties of places like Nainital.

I hear about nainital for tourist place. My daughter is also interested to see the nainital. I have searched on net about cheapest hotel according to my pocket but i did not find it. one of My friend told about the aurobindo ashram. i want to know that how much the room costs for two night and three days.
