Raman Science Centre, a premier institute in Nagpur, is dedicated to the promotion of science and technology. The centre, honoring the great Indian Scientist and Nobel laureate Dr C V Raman, is founded in 1992. It leads many scientific activities in and around Nagpur.
Raman Science Centre also exhibits many real worthy collection of items showcasing the various aspects of modern science and technology. This encloses a planetarium and the astronomy is one of the areas pursued here with much vigor and dynamism. The planetarium is open to the public from 11.30 am to 7 pm on all days except Mondays.
