The town of Muzaffarnagar is located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This town is mainly famous for its many temples, and places of religious interest. Muzaffarnagar is located in a district of the same name, and it was established by erstwhile Mughal Sayyid Jagirdar. The town can be easily accessed as it is located bang in the middle of the highway connecting the cities of New Delhi and Dehradun. The town of Muzaffarnagar is rapidly developing into a city these days, close in the heels of Noida and Meerut.
During your trip to Muzaffarnagar, you can visit the Bhairo Temple, which is located in the heart of the town. This is a major destination for pilgrims, and it is a peaceful and tranquil place that can get very crowded during the festival season. The temple has around eleven Shivalingas and is considered to be a very holy place.
You can also visit Shiv Chowk, which is yet another popular place of worship in Muzaffarnagar. Shukratal is another famous location in the town of Muzaffarnagar, and this is located a few miles away from the town. This temple houses huge statues of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman and Goddess Durga. It also has an ancient Vat Vraksha, which is considered by Hindus as a holy tree.
