These beautiful twin islands offer a wide range of fabulous sights, which makes it a fast emerging tourist destination. The deity in this shrine is unique as it the three heads, and is the incarnation of the Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara. This fabulous temple also catches the panoramic view of the entire seashore, which makes the voyage to the hilltop a worthy experience. The atmosphere in Murud-Janjira is serene and pollution free. Adventure lovers can try a ride in a kattamaran - some sort of a country boat. It will be quite fun to travel in a bullock cart or in a tonga.
