The National Gallery of Victoria, also known as NGV is a popular art museum in the city of Melbourne. Established in the year 1861, it is Australia’s oldest, largest and the most coveted public art museum in Australia. The museum is divided in two parts – the Asian art and the European art which are located on the either side of the Yarra River.
