This is a small village located 6 km south of Manali and is known to serve as excellent base for trekking. The place is also well known for old temples with Shikhara style built Shiva temple being its main attraction. The Jagatsuk Shiva Temple is an ancient temple built during the 8th century. However, the village is the largest of its entity in the Kullu district.

Regular buses ply from Manali bus station to Jagatsukh which takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Besides, private taxis can also be opted from Manali. It is best to visit the place during May to October and it will take around 2 to 3 hours to explore the region.

Quaintly located guest houses, fruit orchards and the annual Chachohli Jatra Festival are some attractions that too helped the village craft a place for itself in any tourist holiday circuit. Gaurishankar and the Chatet-roofed temple are some of the nearby attractions which are also worth visiting.
