Best Season / Best time to visit Malayattoor
As it is located very close to Cochin, Malayattoor shares many similar characteristics with the city.There are three main seasons in Malayattoor. They are summer, monsoon and winter seasons. Malayattoor experiences tropical monsoon climate and temperatures can be hot during the summer. Monsoon season is not a good time to visit as heavy rains make it extremely difficult to travel. The town gets rainfall from two different monsoons.
During the summer season the temperatures can rise to the high thirties and the proximity to the ocean also makes it extremely humid. This is a difficult time to visit for those travelers who are not used to the hot climatic conditions. The temperatures can range from a minimum of 25°C to a maximum of 38°C during the summer. Summer is from March to May.
Monsoon season is from June to September. The town gets most of its rainfall during this time of the year. However the place also gets rainfall from the North West monsoon in October.
Winters are milder and a good time to visit the place. The minimum temperature in winter is around 22°C and the maximum temperature is around 30°C. Winter season is from December to February.
