Best Season / Best time to visit Maithan
Maithan experiences three main seasons and they are summer, monsoon and winter season. Summers are characterized by dryness and one can expected high temperatures during this period. The place receives rainfall from during the monsoon season and the rest of the year is generally dry. Winters are pleasant for the most part, however the barometer does fall during the nights and winter clothing is essential.
The months of March, April and May constitute the summer season and during this temperatures can rise up to a maximum of around 44 degrees Celsius. The mercury drops to a low of 22 degrees Celsius during the summer. Temperatures tend to fall after sunset. Humidity is relatively low during this period.
The monsoon season is from June to September. Rainfall is generally restricted to this period and conditions are more humid after the rains set in. The months of October and November are a good time to visit and the conditions are neither cold nor hot.
The winter season extends from the month of December to the end of February. Temperatures vary from a minimum of 8 degrees Celsius to a high of 22 degrees Celsius during the winter season. The month of January is the coldest month of the year and this is also a popular time to visit the place.
