Mahuli Fort Attractions

A beautiful hill fort, famous for exquisite stone carvings, Mahuli fort, is situated in the Kasara Region of Maharashtra. Placed at a height of 762 meters, this monument is nestled in the midst of thick woody forest. A gorgeous river flows through the base of the fort makes it more charming.

A small finger shaped pinnacle distinguishes the Mahuli fort from the near by mountains. Mahouli fort is acclaimed with the privilege of being the highest point in the near by locality. This amazing structure was the hub of all defense activities of the great Marathas.

At a height of 600 meters, there is a large plateau from where the panoramic view of Tansa lake is visible. The most interesting fact about this structure is that its routs to the interiors are rather confusing. The fort which witnessed numerous important wars is now become a hotspot of visitors due to its easy accessibility.
