Best Season / Best time to visit Mahbubnagar
Mahbubnagar experiences semi arid type temperature. The town is located at an elevation of 1633 feet. Summers are similar to other parts of inland Andhra Pradesh. Temperatures are high and can rise beyond 40°C. Monsoon seasons brings good amount of rainfall to the area and temperatures gradually reduce after the onset of the rains. Winter months experience temperate climatic conditions and are the best time to visit the place.
Summer season is from March to May. During the summer months, temperatures average in the high thirties. The minimum temperature during the summer season is around 32°C. The maximum temperature in the summer months is around 41°C. The hottest months of the year is usually May and temperatures reach the highest in the 3rd week of the month.
The South West Monsoon brings rainfall to this region. Rains usually start in June and end in September. Temperatures gradually decrease after the onset of the monsoons. However the rainfall is erratic and not consistent. The place experiences semi drought like conditions in many years.
December to February constitutes the winter season. Temperatures range between 25°C and 35°C during the winter season. January is the coldest part of the year.
