Well u r goin thr whn it will b the start of winter. It will nt b too much cold. But if u r startin frm a warm place plzz carry heavy woolan cloths. And keep Diamox Tablets with u to survive frm High Altitude sickness.

Hi, I alongwith my friends am going to Leh in the 2nd week of September. I believe that we would require some woolen clothes etc. but please let me know if its really going to be extra chilling and we would require some very heavy jackets. Thanks, Nakul

The information at the top of this page is wrong, and seems to be about Delhi, not about Leh. Summer in Leh is from June to August, not from March to May, and the temperature in summer would rarely reach 40, though a dark object in the sun would. The chart looks correct.
