Kumaon is a region in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This region is located in the Eastern part of the state, and many prominent hill stations like Nainital come under the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand. Nainital can be described as the administrative and tourist headquarters of the entire region. There are many places in Kumaon that you can visit, and the entire region is a haven for those with a penchant for adventure.
