Except the hub of karkala town,the rest is all green and black, making it a good place morning walk.,But the whole town is enveloped by thick smoke produced by burning of coconut leaves for heating water in the bathrooms.Many of the coconut trees are leaning over roads and are responsible for frequent failures of electricity supply during rainy season.While walking ,be careful about falling coconuts and even trees,Still, we,the retired persons prefer this place for its tranquility and natural beauty.
