Nadaun is a very old city which once served as the headquarters of the Nadaun Jagir, the Maharaja Sansar Chand of Kangra. The town has a few temples and a Gurudwara, which are thronged by locals. The main attraction here is a fort which is known for its paintings that still can be found inside the palace.
