Jamwa Ramgarh is an ancient hunting ground that is located near the city of Jaipur and there are numerous attractions that one can see in the place. This was the hunting ground of the Maharajas of the area and the huge lake that is located in the vicinity is the main attraction of the place. The place is known for its natural beauty and the lake is surrounded by pristine hills on all sides.
A hunting lodge is located in the area and this has now been converted into an excellent heritage hotel and this is an interesting place to stay. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the country side as well. One can see many migratory birds in the vicinity of the lake and the lake is at its most beautiful during the monsoon season. There are many species of birds that can be seen here and this is a good place for ornithologists to visit.
Ramgarh also has an old fort and a shrine and these are interesting places to visit. The fort is extremely old and there are many other buildings and havelis that are located here as well. Jamwa Ramgarh is an ideal place for day trips from nearby areas.
