Buddha Temple

The magical effect of Buddha is visible on every aspect of Itanagar and Arunachal Pradesh. Buddha temple, consecrated by the Dalai Lama, in Buddha Vihar located within the serene atmosphere amongst the imposing hills stands tall. The place is a typical Buddha shrine with a massive yellow/ golden roof. The temple stands in stark contrast to the Green carpets of nicely trimmed grass lawns. The shrine houses a Buddha idol and other Buddhist articles of worship. The idol of Buddha meditating peacefully exhorts every visitor to seal the lips and wonder in amusement the piercing silence that prevails in the main hall. However, once outside the shrine the sight of this beautiful temple engulfed by the verdant forests and daunting mountains holds one spellbound.
