Best Season / Best time to visit Indore

Indore experiences transitional climate between a tropical wet and dry and a humid subtropical climate. The best season to visit this place is from October to March.

Winters (October to February) offers pleasant and cool atmosphere with a minimum temperature reaching up to 8°C. The pleasant climate is favorable for all types of tourist activities.
Summers (March to May) has hot weather with a temperature hovering around 36°C. Maximum temperature during summer can go as high as 45°C. In Indore, summer nights are cool and pleasant due to its location in Malwa plateau.
Monsoons (mid-June to mid-September) in Indore has wet and sticky weather. Due to South west monsoon, maximum rainfalls occur in July and September. During monsoon season, the peaceful surroundings of the city can be enjoyed.

Summer months are hot which makes a bit difficult for outdoor activities while winters are very much favorable for sightseeing and all other tourist activities. The peaceful environs of Indore city can be best enjoyed during monsoon season.

But if you are planning for a trip then carrying all sun protective things are a must. Besides, loose cotton clothes are also favorable for summer days.

Mar	Pleasant	Sunny days with clear sky offer a very pleasant atmosphere during this month. Last ideal month before summers to explore the city. This period is favorable for indulging in sightseeing and outdoor activities. Rang Panchami festival is also celebrated in March.
Apr	Very Hot	Summer season arrives and the temperature rises to a discomfort level. The month is accompanied by bright warm days with pleasant nights. It is not a perfect time for outdoor tourist activities in Indore. However, if you are planning for a visit then packing sun protective gears will be a good idea.
May	Very Hot	Days are extremely hot and humid, but the cool breeze makes the evenings quite pleasant. Most tourists don't prefer visiting during this month due to hot climate. Jun	Very Hot	The summer season continues with very hot and sunny days followed by moderately hot evenings. Sometimes pre - monsoon shower hits the city. It may not be the best season to enjoy outdoor tourist activities in Indore. The place gets less crowded and visiting in summer month will require sun protective wears.
Jul	Rainy	Southwest monsoon causes moderate rainfalls in Indore. Temperature drops down to a certain level giving people a relief from the extreme hot summer. Monsoon is ideal period for rain lovers to explore the peaceful surroundings of the city.
Aug	Rainy	Rainy season continues with constant rainfalls making the climate quite comfortable. This month is tagged as not the best time for outdoor tourist activities in Indore. The place is less crowed and the peaceful surroundings of the city is still enjoyable during monsoon season.
Sep	Moderately Hot	Occasional showers make the atmosphere moderately hot. Rains may not be a big hindrance and outdoor activities are still enjoyable for those who like rainy seasons. Rain lovers can experience a relaxed time and the peaceful environs of the place in monsoon. Ganeshotsava festival is also celebrated in this month.
Oct	Pleasant	October offers days with clear blue sky. Tourist season starts from this month. The climate is pleasing and the beautiful nature welcomes the travelers. It is the best time for exploring the city and to indulge in activities like sightseeing and outings.
Nov	Pleasant	Winter appears accompanying pleasantly warm days followed by cold nights. The temperate climate makes the city perfect for all sorts of tourist activities. It is one of the best months to enjoy sighting, outdoor activities and outings.
Dec	Moderately Cold	Pleasant cool climate with beautiful sunny days and chilly nights. One of the best months to explore the city. The month is suitable for sightseeing and all other tourist related activities. It will wise to carry some light warm clothes as nights can be a bit cold in winter.

Events & Festivals in Indore

The popular festivals in Indore are Holi (February/ March), Ganeshotsava (September), Deepavali (October) and Rang Panchami, all are celebrated with much of enthusiasm and fanfare.
Rang Panchami is a festival celebrated five days after Holi, during which men, women and children dance and smear color on each other. This is a very attractive festival coincides with March.

Information about Zoo is missing on this site. Kindly include information about zoo as when and by whom it was developed, No.of animals therein, special attraction of the zoo etc.

I think it would be quite more helpful if u`ld have added the duration required to reach to Indore from all the places of arriving buses in the 'Indore by bus' section like how it is mentioned in 'Indore by train' section.
